Mappage is my magnum opus. It started in 2008 as a page for whatever I wanted to put on a Google Map and became a stats engine & data story system with its own built-in code system. The majority is written in JavaScript with some in PHP and Python. I’m anticipating most visitors here have come via Mappage, but for anyone else, that’s what I like to show people. Earthquake database. Seismologists upload location files into this web app and the rest of us can see where they all are. Uses JavaScript, Vue, PHP, Perl, MySQL. I’ve made a number of other small web apps to help the cause of seismology in Australia.
GrowCare (info site, web app) uses weather data to model the risk of plant disease (mainly downy mildew) and provides grape growers with spray advice.
